“When I initially engaged with surprise me genie, I really wasn’t quite sure what to expect. On our initial meeting, I brought forward some high level thoughts. Richa, patiently listened and then worked with me to focus my thoughts and ideas. She did not impose a predetermined solution. We worked collectively on the project taking my thoughts and expanding on the good ones, and also corralling my not so good ones. Once, we arrived at goal is when the magic started. Richa, was able to harness these ideas and leveraging her formal design background and technical skills was able to bring my vision to life in an organized and timely manner. The list of materials required was extensive, complete with quantities and anticipated costs. Once all the materials were sourced, Richa arrived literally with a design blueprint and schedule. She allowed me to actively participate in my creation. However, she was quick to grab the reigns when I went astray. She worked tirelessly with me hand in hand for two days as my design came to life. When the project was completed, I not only had a beautiful professionally created piece of art, but also the satisfaction that I played an integral part in its creation”
